My name is Lou Swartz and I am a proud member of the culinary profession. I have been cooking for twenty years now and couldn't think of a more rewarding career to be a part of!
Graduating from L'Academie de Cuisine in 1996, I soon after became a pastry chef in Washington, D.C. getting an opportunity to cook for President and First Lady Bill Clinton for their Second Presidential Inaugural celebration, and had the pleasure to cook for many of our senators and foreign ambassadors.
After leaving Washington, D.C., I moved to Philadelphia for a few years and in 2000 moved to Phoenix where I was fortunate enough to have worked at Lon's at the Hermosa, The Phoenician Resort and the Westin Kierland Resort. Currently, I am a personal chef and culinary instructor, teaching the basics of cooking and catering dinner parties around the Valley.
